Meet Ruth.
Ruth is a sweet five-year-old mini golden doodle. Inspired by his namesake, Ruth is committed to fighting for a more equitable and just world for humans and canines alike. Beyond bringing comfort to clients during firm meetings, Ruth enjoys being a foster brother to rescue dogs in need and a seeing-eye dog for his sister, Stevie. He recently received a tough juvenile lymphoma diagnosis and is having great success on chemo—full remission! Ruth is just a happy guy who enjoys leisurely walks, paddle boarding, cozy naps under the desk, and lots of cookies.
Stevie is a blind-from-birth cockapoo rescue pup, who’s named after the iconic Stevie Nicks. She is an essential member of our team, offering a unique perspective on resilience and grit. Ruth is teaching Stevie how to be a good dog—whether it’s sitting on command, coming when called, or refraining from biting ankles during meetings. Stevie sports a special harness with a halo when out in public, helping her navigate the world around her. While she’s still working on her office manners, Stevie is a perfect reminder to face every day with equal parts determination and joy.
“Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow. Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here.”
